The One-77, the fastest Aston Martin to date, debuted with a 7.3-litre V12 engine and a peak speed of 355 kph (220.5 mph), fusing cutting-edge technology with stunning beauty. With a seamless, hand-crafted aluminium body and an ultra-strong, lightweight carbon fibre monocoque, it is a superb example of what is perhaps the most coveted automotive art form in the world.
With the construction of the 77th and last vehicle in the series, production of the One-77 came to an end in 2012.
With just 77 units made, the One-77 is the most exclusive limited-edition Aston Martin of the “Gaydon Era”. The automobile was originally displayed at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, where it was mostly hidden by a fabric with grey pinstripes, with only the front right wing visible. In March 2009, the hypercar made its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The completed car received the Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes when it was displayed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Ville d’Este on Lake Como at the end of April 2009.
